RED LION INN  CHURCH ROAD  PENDERYN  CF44 9JR

“After a good dinner one can forgive anybody, even one’s own relations”

- Benjamin Franklin -

Wales is home to some amazing produce and artisan producers and we love seeking out the best of these to source the ingredients for our freshly cooked dishes. We believe that homemade should mean just that so from baking our own bread to making our own pies packed with chunks of meat topped off with a pastry lion, peeling locally sourced potatoes and hand cutting into chips to hand coating fresh fish in our own real ale batter, we’re striving to make traditional pub food the very best it can be.

LUNCH

Do I Need To Book?

We are a small country pub and it can get very busy so its highly recommended to give us a call to secure a table. To ensure your journey is not wasted please contact us and we will happily make a reservation for you.

Are Children Welcome?

Children are very welcome but as the pub is quite small, for their safety, we ask that they are supervised at all times. We don’t offer a specific kids menu but we always have fresh local sausages available or our chef will happily prepare goujons from fresh chicken or cod fillets. PLEASE NOTE: Due to space limitations regrettably we are unable to cater for high chairs or baby changing.

Can You Accommodate Large Groups?

The maximum we can sit together on one table is 12 people. A £5 per person deposit and a pre-order will be required for groups of 10 or more.

Are Dogs Welcome?

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant but our sociable furry friends are very welcome in the bar areas…..…they can even bring well behaved owners!
